JK Supermarket Limited, a company bearing number C57690 - hereinafter referred to as "JK" - is a family business (Trademark reference 54373). JK trades from a three storey premises situated at Savemart Building, Naxxar Road, San Gwann, Malta.
JK is now offering shopping through its website – referred to as “The Site” and use of the Site is subject to 'JK' "Terms of Use" and "Trading Terms" set out below which together form the "Terms and Conditions". By using the Site you will be accepting without limitation or qualification these Terms and Conditions. Should you disagree with these Terms and Conditions please refrain from using this Site immediately
JK is committed to protecting your privacy - Please read through our Privacy Policy listed with these terms.
JK reserves the right to update the Terms and Conditions of this Site at any time. Access to any update will be listed on new Terms and Conditions on the Site’s home page. The new Terms and Conditions will take immediate effect and will govern all transactions with JK through the use of the Site. Should you disagree to the new Terms and Conditions please refrain from using the Site immediately.
JK reserves the right to suspend or cancel a customer's access to any or all of the services provided by JK should it result that the account has been inappropriately used or has been abused of. You also have the right to request blocking or erasure of data which has been processed unlawfully. Any decision with regard to what constitutes inappropriate use or abuse is to be taken only by JK and its decision in that regard is final.
All data will be processed and handled in accordance the data protection laws currently in force in Malta.
The customer’s statutory rights are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.
Customers may request deletion of their account by sending an email addressed to save@savemart.com.mt.
1. Sales Policy
Preventing Underage Purchases of Alcoholic Beverages.
- Purchases of alcoholic beverages by anyone below the age of 17 years is strictly prohibited
- When creating an account, Customers will be asked to provide a valid date of birth for age verification purposes. Any misrepresentation in that regard would constitute abuse and may result with the deletion of the account.
- All deliveries require an adult's signature.
- The image of the product is an indicator of the product and may been seen differently once received.
2. Age Restrictions
It is an offence to attempt to buy a product if you are under the required age. The offence applies also to any third party attempting to purchase any product on behalf of an under-aged Site user.
Customers placing orders for the purchase of products on the Site, confirm that they are of the appropriate age to receive and use the specified product so ordered. Any customer ordering a product to be delivered to a third party will be accepting the responsibility that the intended recipient of the order is of the appropriate age to receive and use the product so ordered. JK reserves the right not to supply any age-restricted product where we reasonably believe that a customer is below the relevant minimum age.
3. Payments
Payments for on-line purchases need to be finalized by either one of the following methods:
- GPRS POS - Pay with your card when we get your delivery at your door. BOV and HSBC
- Cash on Delivery - Pay using cash when we get your delivery at your door.
- Online Payment via Credit/Debit Cards - This requires entering your card information within our payment page to be able to process the order. BOV Cash Link Card, HSBC Quick Cash Card, APS Premier Card, VISA Cards, MasterCard Cards.
- Special Arrangements may be made for the payment of orders done through the phone or fax.
4. Prices and Quality
The prices quoted on site are resale prices and the quality of the products is guaranteed. If for any reason customers are not satisfied with the quality of products delivered please return the goods to JK at the address quoted on the contact page for a full credit. Kindly produce your delivery chit as proof of purchase.
The prices and offers on the website may not necessarily be the same as prices offered at our outlet. Furthermore ‘Special Offers’ made on our site may not necessarily be available at our outlet, in as much as promotional offers made at our outlet may not necessarily be available on the Site.
Current offers are only available till stock is lasts. Offers might not be available on deliver date.
Prices on fruit & vegetables items can vary in price according to fresh supplies.
The Prices quoted are all with VAT included.
5. Weighted Items
Exact weight for certain sold products like meat, delicatessen items, fruit and vegetables is extremely difficult to match exactly as per order received. While we will try to obtain the nearest weight possible as per customers’ orders, we however retain the right to charge for the exact weight actually made out and delivered.
6. Delivery
Delivery service is available to all customers ordering via our website, by phone or via facsimile. Please ensure that you leave your contact phone/mobile number upon placing your order in order that our staff may contact you to agree on a best suitable delivery date and time. All orders are concluded in English.
Deliveries are done in all locations in Malta (Gozo and Comino not included).
Kindly note that a delivery charge of €5 will apply the order placed be below €75.00. Charge will apply to all localities.
There is a charge of Five (€5) Euro on all deliveries NOT to ground floor level with no lift.
The minimum order that a user can place is that of Thirty (€30.00) Euro.
Deliveries will be carried out from Monday to Friday between 9:00am to 06:00pm and Saturday between 9am and 1pm.
Deliveries will be carried out within 1-2 working days from receipt of order..
Once you finish the order please indicate the best time for the delivery to take place. Should there be any changes one of our staff will contact you. No deliveries will be made out during Stock Taking but will be carried out on the first working date thereafter – stock taking dates will be announced beforehand on our Site.

7. Returns
If the client would wish to return any item purchased for whatever reason, he/she may do so by returning the goods at our outlet Supermarket with the receipt. From there onwards the shop return policy will take place, that is by credit note. JK's Return Policy differs from product to product. This is due to the wide range of items that are in stock. Return Policies for fresh products differ from those of the condiments.
All items returned to JK have to be in their original form, with all original labels and seals attached and intact.
JK will not accept any perishable products after 3 days of the purchase date and if they are not kept in their respective optimum temperature. Other Products can be returned with 15 days in their original form. Temperature controlled foods are not returnable.
If an item is faulty then we will meet our legal obligations which will be of providing a credit, provided that the item is returned within a reasonable time with proof of purchase.
Credit will be deducted on the next bill payable to JK.
8. Website Maintenance
There might be certain periods during which parts or all of the site will not be available due to maintenance. Pre advance notice will be given to customers through the Site. Should a customer have any difficulty in the use of the website please contact us via e-mail on save@savemart.com.mt . It could result, that sometimes the site or part thereof may not be available to circumstances beyond our control. We apologize for any inconvenience this could cause.
JK, in conjunction with its IT service provider have ensured that all appropriate security measures possible have been implemented on this Site. Payments via Credit Cards are made through a highly secure payment gateway approved by the local banks.
9. Loyalty Points
Please note that most products within JK Supermarket Ltd website are eligible to the loyalty scheme, however the offers at JK Supermarket are not available on delivery.
The current offer is that with every 5EUR spent 1 point is earned. With 200 points earned JK Supermarket offers a 25EUR voucher to be spent at JK Supermarket.
On redemption of these points the physical loyalty card must be presented.
